About MAJÓ

MAJÓ comes from my first name: Maria-Jose. “Ma-Jó” is what my family calls me. But it’s also just a fun way to brand myself—and I like the way it looks printed. On the regular, I go by Maria, since it’s easier for folks to remember and I like just ‘Maria’—nice and simple. Aside from being a designer, I'm also an illustrator, adventurer, and maker. I like to write, mix things up a little bit here and there and keep things fun and dynamic.

Check out this video I made to try to illustrate my personality. Keep in mind I made it some years ago. People change… But they also stay the same in some ways, so that’s why I’ve opted to leave it here as a slightly more detailed intro to who I am than just this portfolio website.
